    BCN Process Characteristics
BCN(Biological Cryo-Nitrification) process attempts to remove organic with its maximum capacity in the first aeration reactor. Then in the following media reactor it can obtain maximum nitrogen removal efficiency by maintaining very high nitrifying microorganisms.
  • It is an innovate process to solve the low nitrification problem during winter season by retrofitting the reactors in the existing wastewater treatment plants applying renovation with the least cost and construction.
  • This process employs special structure design for reactors and unique screen system to prevent loesing media.
The mixing in the reactors can be maximized by installing water channels and airlift pumps.
  • The media reactor is partitioned and then the complete mixing can be enhanced as plug-flow mixing. Then the nitrification in the low temperature can be achieved easily and the nitrogen removal performance will be practisced in its maximum capacity.
